01Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how sima ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information in connection with the mobile application Squid Winner (the "App").

We designed this Policy to be transparent and consistent with applicable law, including the laws of Bangladesh and, where applicable, other privacy regimes.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

03Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through the App as distributed. It does not cover third-party websites, stores, or services that we do not control, or information you provide directly to third parties outside the App.

05Information we collect

Information you provide directly. The App does not require you to create an account or submit personal profile information to play. If you contact us by email, we process the information you include solely to respond and handle your request.

Information collected automatically. Depending on your device, OS, app store, and network conditions, the following technical data may be processed automatically:

• Device and app technical information — device model, OS version, app version, language, screen metrics, crash or performance signals.
• Network information — IP address, network type, and standard server logs if the App makes a network request.
• Local on-device data — temporary cache, assets, or settings needed for graphics, audio, and gameplay, which stays on your device unless you clear app data or uninstall.

The App declares the Android permission INTERNET, used for connectivity such as updates, asset loading, or future features.

Third-party components. The App may integrate third-party software components. Unless and until we enable a live analytics or backend service with production keys and clearly disclose expanded collection, we do not intentionally operate cloud-side user analytics or user databases for this App. If we enable such services, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain additional consent. We do not sell personal information.

06How we use information

We use information only as needed to provide and operate the App; maintain security and integrity (diagnosing crashes, preventing abuse, fixing bugs); communicate with you when you contact us; comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use; and improve the App using aggregated, non-identifying technical feedback where available.

We do not use fraudulent, deceptive, or coercive methods to obtain consent for data collection or sharing, and we do not offer any Regulated Data for sale.

07Legal bases

Depending on your location, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the App you requested); legitimate interests (security, basic technical performance, responding to inquiries); consent (where required for optional features); and legal obligation (when we must retain or disclose information to comply with law). For users in Bangladesh, processing follows applicable Bangladeshi law and any sectoral rules that apply to digital services.

08Sharing & disclosure

We require any third-party service provider who receives personal data on our behalf to protect it and use it only for the contracted purposes. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the current version.

09International transfers

Our primary legal jurisdiction is Bangladesh. Technical infrastructure or email providers may process data in other countries. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10Data retention

• On-device game data — retained on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the App.
• Support emails — retained as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping or legal compliance.
• Server / technical logs, if any — retained only for short operational periods unless a longer period is required for security or law.

When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize personal data, except where lawful reasons require retention.

11Your rights & choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent authority in your jurisdiction.

How to exercise your rights. Email mtsimaakter@proton.me with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Account and data deletion. The App has no user accounts. To remove local App data, clear the App's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the App. To request deletion of any personal data you may have sent us by email, contact mtsimaakter@proton.me — we will delete such data within a reasonable time, except where we must retain it for lawful reasons.

12Children's privacy

The App is a general-audience entertainment game. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or a higher age required by local law) without verifiable parental or guardian consent.

If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact mtsimaakter@proton.me and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly. Parents and guardians should supervise minors' use of devices and apps.

13Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the App and the limited data we process, including minimizing collection, using official platform distribution channels, and avoiding unnecessary permissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

If we later process Regulated Data, we will apply encryption and industry best practices for data in transit and at rest, and collect only the minimum amount necessary for the App's function.

14Permissions

We do not request sensitive permissions — camera, microphone, contacts, precise location — in the current version. If that changes, we will update this Policy and the App listing.

15Do Not Track

The App does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because it is a native mobile game client, not a traditional website. We do not engage in cross-site tracking for advertising in the current version.

16Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Material changes will be posted with the App listing, in the App, or by other reasonable means. If we expand data collection — for example, enabling analytics, accounts, or cloud saves — we will update this Policy to disclose what is collected, why, with whom it is shared, and how you can delete it.

17Distribution platforms

App stores or platforms used to distribute the App may process certain data as an independent controller in connection with store operations. That processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices, not solely by this Policy.
